Bi.Ci Terms of Service (2026)

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bi.Ci, including its web platform, integrations, APIs, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Bi.Ci is operated by CRISS Solutions Inc. ("Bi.Ci," "CRISS Solutions," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. Agreement

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and CRISS Solutions Inc.

By creating an account, connecting third-party services, or using any portion of Bi.Ci, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
  • You have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete.

If you use Bi.Ci on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Accounts

Account Creation

To use Bi.Ci, you must create an account via:

  • Email and password
  • Google login
  • Apple login

You agree:

  • To maintain only one personal account
  • Not to share your login credentials
  • To ensure activities and data reflect authentic use

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining password confidentiality
  • Securing your devices
  • Notifying us of unauthorized access

CRISS Solutions Inc. is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account use due to your negligence.

3. Connected Integrations

Bi.Ci allows you to connect third-party services such as:

  • Strava
  • Garmin
  • Wahoo
  • Hammerhead

When you connect these services:

  • You authorize us to retrieve activity and gear data
  • Data access is limited to what you approve
  • Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies

We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or policy changes.

4. Subscription and Payment (If Applicable)

Certain features may be offered under subscription plans.

If subscription features are introduced:

  • Fees will be clearly disclosed
  • Billing cycles will be specified
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled
  • Refund policies will be stated at purchase

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Beta Features

We may offer experimental or early-access features ("Beta Features").

Beta Features:

  • May contain bugs
  • May change or be removed
  • Are used at your own risk

6. Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of:

  • Your activity data
  • Gear information
  • Maintenance records
  • Uploaded content

You represent that you have rights to all content you upload or synchronize.

7. License to Use Content

To operate Bi.Ci, you grant CRISS Solutions Inc. a:

  • Non-exclusive
  • Worldwide
  • Royalty-free
  • Limited license

to process, store, analyze, and display your content solely for:

  • Providing dashboard functionality
  • Calculating gear wear
  • Generating maintenance alerts
  • Improving service performance

This license ends when you delete your account, except for anonymized aggregated data.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer the platform
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Use automated scraping tools
  • Interfere with service functionality
  • Use the Services for commercial exploitation without written permission

Violation may result in account termination.

9. Responsible Use of Activity and Maintenance Recommendations

Bi.Ci provides:

  • Gear wear calculations
  • Maintenance predictions
  • AI-generated suggestions (if enabled)

These are:

  • Informational only
  • Not mechanical, medical, or professional advice

You are solely responsible for:

  • Inspecting your equipment
  • Ensuring mechanical safety
  • Seeking professional servicing when needed

Use of the Services and all cycling activities remain at your own risk.

10. Artificial Intelligence Features

Bi.Ci may use artificial intelligence or machine learning to:

  • Predict component wear
  • Suggest maintenance intervals
  • Detect anomalies

AI systems may contain inaccuracies.

You agree that:

  • AI outputs are advisory only
  • CRISS Solutions Inc. is not liable for decisions based on AI recommendations

11. Third-Party Products and Services

Bi.Ci may reference or integrate:

  • GPS devices
  • Wearables
  • Cycling equipment brands
  • Payment providers

We do not guarantee compatibility, availability, or performance of third-party products.

Any transactions with third parties are solely between you and that third party.

12. Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

You may control certain privacy settings in your account.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

CRISS Solutions Inc. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OF CALCULATIONS
  • UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE

You use Bi.Ci at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

CRISS Solutions Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Personal injury related to cycling activities

Maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed:

The greater of:

  • $50 CAD, OR
  • The amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CRISS Solutions Inc. from claims arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Services
  • Your uploaded content
  • Your violation of laws
  • Your cycling activities

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

  • Violation of Terms
  • Security concerns
  • Fraud
  • Extended inactivity

You may delete your account at any time.

Termination may result in permanent deletion of your data.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of:

  • Province of Ontario, Canada

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

18. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution.

Class-action participation is waived to the extent permitted by law.

19. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Email
  • Dashboard notification

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
